Day Shift Opportunity 7am-3:30pm)***Company: Made in America — Precision MachiningCNC Programmer – Aerospace NPIMade in America Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our rapidly growing aerospace team. This is a high-impact role focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) — taking complex aerospace parts from print to production with precision, efficiency, and repeatability.ResponsibilitiesProgramming LeadershipDevelop, prove out, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills (HAAS experience required).Write, edit, and validate G-code and CAM toolpaths (Mastercam/Bobcad).Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, GD&T, and tight tolerance requirements.Own first article programming for NPI projects, including AS9102/FAI documentationNew Product Introduction (NPI)Lead machining strategy development for prototype and first-run builds.Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.Create process documentation, setup sheets, and fixture/tooling requirements.Drive smooth handoff of programs into full production.Process OptimizationStandardize programming methods, tool libraries, and best practices across the shop.Recommend and implement cycle time, tool life, and quality improvements.Support continuous improvement, lean practices, and lights-out manufacturing initiatives.Shop Floor CollaborationWork with machinists on setups, fixturing, and process validation.Train and mentor CNC machinists/programmers to elevate team capability.Perform visual and dimensional inspections during program prove-outs.Requirements7+ years CNC machining/programming experience (aerospace preferred).Proficiency in multi-axis (3/4/5-axis) programming and G-Code.Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances) and aerospace quality standards.Demonstrated success in NPI or prototype-to-production transition.Ability to design fixtures, plan tooling, and lead setups independently.Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
