About The JobJob SummaryThe Procurement Manager – Dairy Supply and Sale is responsible for leading strategic supplier relationships, ensuring compliance documentation, and safeguarding continuity of supply across Danone’s dairy‑sourcing ecosystem. This role partners closely with internal teams and external producers to maintain high standards of quality and regulatory readiness, while driving efficiency and alignment across the milk and cream value chain.The scope of this position is purchase and sale of all liquid dairy ingredients outside of direct farms co-operatives, liquid ingredients suppliers (CSM, UF, etc) and customers of our surplus components Cream, CSM and UFKey ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our team, you will play an important role in driving our mission forward. The following responsibilities outline the core expectations and contributions for this positionServe as a primary liaison with dairy suppliers and customers partners to ensure reliable, high‑quality inbound and outbound liquid dairy ingredients and cream supply. Ownership on rolling forecasts in partnership with other team members and finance partners to ensure accuracy as well as volumes adjustment linked to forecast changesBring discussions with suppliers/customers to the team and provide expertise on the dairy market evolutionOwn the end‑to‑end management of required compliance documents for dairy customers (Kosher, non GMO etc)Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily performed in a standard office setting and requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or standing) for extended periods. The employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels from office equipment and conversations. Work is flexible but when not traveling. A minimum of 3 days per week must be spent at the office (Louisville, White Plains)The salary range for this position is $113,000-162,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. While you may have the option to work from home on a schedule as agreed to with your supervisor, you are also expected to regularly report to your assigned office location at least 3 days per week.About YouRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience managing supplier documentation and compliance requirements for dairy categories (Kosher, GFSI, Prop65, Non‑GMO, etc.). Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with logistics and supply chain partners, including defining job scopes and expectations with third‑party providers. Excellent stakeholder communication skills (evidenced by coordination across internal teams and leadership). Strong attention to detail and reliability in documentation management. Understanding of dairy supply dynamics and milk/cream procurement workflows. Preferred AttributesRelationship‑builder with a proactive, partnership‑oriented mindset.
