-On Hold - Reviewing Submitted Candidates ON HOLD 12.10.2025 8-Month Locums Opportunity: Oncology NP starting in 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our established team in a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Long Creek, SC. This locum tenens contract spans from February 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, offering a chance to provide high-quality cancer care in a dynamic, supportive environment. Schedule and Expectations Duration: 8-month contract (02/01/2026 ??? 09/30/2026). Clinic Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Call Duty: Required phone and hospital call from Tuesday 4:30 PM to Monday 8:00 AM. Includes rotational weekend on-site inpatient rounding (every 5-6 weeks). Key Responsibilities: Managing bone marrow transplants, coordinating with the blood bank, ordering tests/imaging, prescribing treatments, and collaborating on chemotherapy administration. Practice Environment Team Structure: 8 Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers. Patient Focus: Adult and Geriatric population. Case Mix: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology. Volume: Average 15 outpatients/day; 20 inpatients/day during call/rounding. System: Utilizing EPIC EMR. Required Qualifications Certification: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology. License: Active South Carolina license (or willingness to obtain one). Support: Current BLS certification and DEA registration.
