Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Job Description Our client, a manufacturing company in the Catoosa area, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.The ideal candidate will have strong inspection experience in a manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of quality processes, measurement tools, and documentation.Schedule: Monday–Friday; Friday overtime only as needed | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay: $20 – $27 per hour (based on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and finished productsConduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain accurate inspection recordsIdentify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials to prevent further processingRe-inspect reworked parts to ensure compliance with specificationsUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and other inspection equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, bills of material, and work instructionsMaintain inspection documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to dateSupport calibration of inspection equipment and maintain calibration recordsMonitor processes and support continuous improvement efforts using quality tools such as SPC and root cause analysisCommunicate quality issues to production teams and leadershipMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environmentStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExperience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipmentKnowledge of ISO 9001 standards, SPC, and quality control processes preferredFamiliarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, stamping, or fabricationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic proficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred:ASQ certifications (Quality Inspector, Technician, or similar)Experience with calibration processes and inspection documentation systemsCompany DescriptionBarracuda Staffing & Consulting bridges the gap between great employers and great talent while supporting healthier workplaces through strategic HR solutions.
