Facility Manager (STRTP)

Lead a Team That Changes Lives Brighter Horizon Treatment Center (BHTC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional care for youth while maintaining compliance with California STRTP regulations and agency policies. The Facility Manager provides operational leadership, supervises staff, promotes a positive workplace culture, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services. Essential Responsibilities: Operational Leadership · Manage daily operations at the STRTP facility. · Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), STRTP regulations, Continuum of Care Reform (CCR), Medi-Cal requirements, and agency policies. · Monitor program performance and implement quality improvement initiatives. Staff Leadership working with the Administrator · Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Direct Care staff. · Develop employee schedules and maintain adequate staffing levels. · Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing professional development. · Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Program Oversight · Ensure implementation of individualized needs and service plans. · Monitor documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance. · Review incident reports and coordinate corrective actions when necessary. · Support admissions, discharges, and case coordination. Facility Management · Oversee facility safety, maintenance, inventory, and purchasing. · Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic living environment. · Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed. Collaboration · Work closely with clinicians, Case Managers, Head of Service, county representatives, schools, probation officers, and community partners. · Participate in audits, licensing visits, and program reviews. · Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders while representing the agency professionally. Crisis Management · Provide leadership during emergencies and critical incidents. · Ensure proper reporting and follow-up of incidents. · Support staff in implementing crisis intervention techniques. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred. · Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, child welfare, or a related setting. · Knowledge of STRTP regulations, Community Care Licensing requirements, and trauma-informed care principles. · Valid California Driver's License. · Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Live Scan and all pre-employment requirements.
