Life Sciences Program Manager

We are seeking a Program Manager to support a life sciences company that is building a new facility to launch a contract service for pharmaceutical customers in early 2027.The Program Manager will be responsible for driving the integrated master schedule and operating cadence across multiple workstreams, including construction, equipment delivery, qualification, validation, operations, regulatory, and commercial activities. The consultant will also directly lead several workstreams, facilitate risk assessments, and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to support a successful facility startup.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and drive the integrated master schedule across facility startup activitiesEstablish and maintain an effective operating cadence across cross-functional workstreamsCoordinate activities across construction, equipment delivery, qualification, validation, operations, regulatory, and commercial teamsLead select workstreams and ensure key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables remain on trackIdentify, track, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact the facility launchFacilitate cross-functional risk assessmentsLead and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Coordinate stakeholders across functions to maintain alignment and accountabilitySupport overall program execution toward the planned early 2027 launchQualificationsProgram management experience within life sciences (required)Demonstrated experience facilitating risk assessments and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) (required)Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA-regulated manufacturing environments (preferred)Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple interdependent workstreamsExperience coordinating schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies across functional teamsFacility startup experience (preferred)Experience within the pharmaceutical or broader life sciences industryStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skillsStart: ASAPDuration: 6-7 monthsTime commitment: 5 days per weekLocation: Hybrid, primarily remote, with travel to the Mid-Atlantic U.S. as neededExpected rate: $90-$100 per hourProject ID#: 9344*This is a 1099 contract role that does not offer health benefits
