Job Role: Finance Business Systems AnalystDuration: 3 months ContractLocation: Boston, MA Hybrid (2 days onsite, remaining days remote)Only local candidates considered (Boston, MA)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Finance Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance Workday Finance applications and integrated systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements, configure solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and support ongoing system improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather and document business requirementsDesign, configure, and maintain Workday Finance solutions and related systemsProvide Tier-2 support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system defectsManage enhancement requests, testing, deployment, and post-production supportConduct system testing, create test plans, and support upgrades and implementationsPartner with IT teams on integrations and system-related projectsMonitor trends, prioritize issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholdersEscalate critical issues to leadership teams when necessaryRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Finance, or related field3–5 years of hands-on Workday Finance experienceStrong knowledge of Workday Financial modules including FDM/Accounting, Banking, Projects, and Adaptive PlanningExperience with business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and project coordinationStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Workday Reporting is preferred
