Medical Assistant Located in beautiful Northern California, Adventist Health Clear Lake has been a leading healthcare provider in Lake County since 1968. We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and provide primary and specialty care services at clinics throughout the Lake, Butte & Tehama County areas to best serve our communities.Job Summary:Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: RequiredSuccessful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: PreferredPhlebotomy certificate: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): RequiredEssential Functions:Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
