If you’re passionate about advancing education and discovery in the biomedical sciences, we invite you to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to our team.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & CurriculumDeliver high-quality instruction across the curriculum, including lectures, laboratories, problem-based learning, and case-based sessionsDevelop and maintain current, evidence-based course contentParticipate in course leadership and curriculum developmentContribute to student assessment and continuous program improvementResearch & ScholarshipEstablish and sustain an independent, nationally recognized research programPublish in high-quality, peer-reviewed journalsPursue and secure extramural funding from federal agencies, foundations, or other relevant sourcesStudent EngagementAdvise and mentor students in academic and professional developmentSupport a learning environment that promotes inclusion, curiosity, and critical thinkingService & LeadershipContribute to departmental, college, and university committeesEngage in professional service and community outreachSupervise students and/or staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and mentorship as appropriate What We Are Looking ForAn earned doctorate from an accredited university in Physiology, Pharmacology, or a closely related discipline such as Biomedical or Biological Sciences, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical/Medical Sciences.At least 3 years post-doctoral experience, preferably in a medical or health-related university.History of obtaining funding and current extramural funding to support research.Must be able to secure and maintain State and Federal controlled substance registration if research involves use of controlled substances.To see the full job description go to Position Description at the bottom of this posting.Total RewardsAcademic rank, salary, and tenure eligibility will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
