Cortez - Senior Reliability Engineer, General Services

We offer a generous benefits package which includes a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!Responsibilities:Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings to comply with internal/external customer demands for timely repairs of General Services and Underground Equipment.Identify and set priorities on opportunities for reliability improvement by mining information using reliability databasesStatistically analyze equipment and performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availabilityProvide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) with maintenance and operations personnelDevelop Nevada Gold Mines' General Services Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability-cultureCultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEM's that drive improvement in equipmentMaintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPI's for General services and Cortez Underground.Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projectsDrive continuous improvement in the maintenance division and help foster the culture to ensure its longevityEnsure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implementedPerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a reliability role requiredMinimum six (6) years practical experience, preferably in a manufacturing/ processing or mining environment requiredDemonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team requiredStrong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: DMAIC, RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN requiredExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions requiredProficient with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project preferredCertified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager preferredStrong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: DMAIC, RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN requiredExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as: oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions requiredWhat We Can Offer YouA comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.Endless opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.#LI-LS2
