Title: Field Safety SpecialistLocation: Blythewood, SC (Columbia)Pay Rate: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Contract: Short term – 2 monthsStart Date: ASAPRequired QualificationsVerified OHSA 30 • 3+ years of field safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment• Strong communication and problem-solving skillsPrimary Responsibilities• Conduct routine and unannounced job site safety inspections and audits• Identify hazardous conditions and implement corrective actions• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local, state, and federal safety regulations• Perform risk assessments and support development of site-specific safety plans• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; perform root cause analysis• Maintain accurate safety documentation (reports, inspections, training logs, etc.)• Partner with field leadership to reinforce safe work practices and improve processes• Monitor PPE usage and ensure proper safety equipment compliance• Promote a strong safety culture and coach employees on best practicesSummaryInsight Global is seeking a Field Safety Specialist to support on-site safety operations and ensure compliance across active job sites.
