Construction Quality Manager
The Construction Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, venders, third-party commissioning providers, and clients to maintain and enhance our reputation for quality and reliability.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality management plans, procedures, and policies for construction projects.Conduct regular site inspections, observations, surveillances, and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner, providing expert guidance on corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, venders, and third-party commissioning providers to promote and enforce quality standards.Review and approve project documentation, including plans, specifications, inspection forms, and reports.Train and mentor site personnel on quality control processes and best practices.Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management and clients.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in construction quality management.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or 10 years of industrial/commercial construction experience.Data center construction experience.Data center commissioning experience is a plus.Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Construction Quality Manager, Six Sigma, Construction Quality Management for Contractors, etc.).Concrete construction or quality experience.Experience with LEED certification and sustainable building practices.Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.A minimum of 6+ years of experience in construction quality management or a similar role.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control standards.Proven experience with quality management systems and tools, such as ISO 9001.Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, BIM 360).Position requires travel up to 75%
