Marketing Specialist - Construction Products
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Specialist with 5-10 years of experience in marketing construction products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, experience in the construction industry, and a track record of driving growth through targeted campaigns. This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep knowledge of the construction market to promote our products and increase brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote construction products, focusing on market trends, and target audience.
Product Launches: Plan and implement product launch strategies, ensuring alignment with sales and product development teams to maximize market penetration.
Content Development: Oversee and create marketing materials, including brochures, product guides, case studies, website content, and social media campaigns tailored to construction industry professionals.
Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies to drive traffic and generate leads.
Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets through written press materials and collateral to gain effective press coverage.
Customer Insights: Conduct market research and gather insights into customer needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings. Use this data to refine messaging and marketing approaches.
Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to provide tools, presentations, and marketing collateral that support business development efforts.
Events and Trade Shows: Manage participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness, engage with customers, and showcase new products.
Partnerships: Build relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and industry influencers to enhance brand visibility and drive product adoption.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all campaigns are cost-effective and deliver high ROI.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs and business goals.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5-10 years of marketing experience in the construction industry, particularly with construction products (materials, equipment, tools, etc.).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the construction market, including key players, distribution channels, and market trends.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEM tools, CRM software)
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo)
