Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about retail sales processes, comfortable with product demonstrations, and capable of maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and promote store promotions to increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by arranging displays and signage effectively Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean and inviting Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist with inventory management, including stocking and inventory counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed Maintain professional communication skills to ensure a positive shopping environment Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer engagement Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and stock management Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling, and stock management preferred Ability to work in an ever changing retail store environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed This position offers an engaging work environment where your sales skills can grow while helping customers find what they need.
