SummaryThe delivery driver is responsible for transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery as directed by the Logistics Coordinator and Purchasing Manager.Driver Duties1. Ensure safe and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites, following designated routes and adhering to traffic regulations.2. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment at construction sites, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation3. Completes and makes a record of all delivery of KI services supplies, and materials to project sites per the assigned delivery schedule developed daily by logistics coordinator.4. Check vehicle every morning to ensure that the vehicle is ready to drive and safe to operate.5. Verifies accuracy of invoice with vendor at vendor pick –ups and keeps a signed copy of the invoice as proof of delivery.5. Ensures all paperwork on a load matches the invoice, delivery schedule, purchase order or pull ticket.6. Cleans out vehicles at the end of the day and refills gas tank as needed. Wash vehicle to maintain a neat appearance7. Promptly communicates any problems with route, delays, or mechanical problems to logistics coordinator.8. Performs any other duties or responsibilities necessary to complete the job9. Submits all paperwork in a timely basis after each business day (delivery tickets/gas receipts)10. Reports all accidents, incidents and mechanical problems immediately11. Scans/submits all delivery tickets and sends them to the accounts payable box daily12. Coordinates with warehouse staff to keep shelves organized with items we keep in stock13. Logs in all tool transactions to foreman app. by the end of the day14. Proactive about batteries, poles, and chargers when picking them up from the field the field, communicates with the tool technician immediately if they are incomplete15. Reports foreman app issues immediately to logistics coordinator/Manager and follow upTool Handling Duties1. Ensures all tools marked and painted before going to the jobsite2. Protects and takes care of company tools on daily routes/loads3. Creates a "transfer form" every time checking in or out any tool or equipment4. Leaves no company tool "unattended" behind.5. Brings tools back to the warehouse and place them in the corrects bins for tool technician to inspect6. Verifies only green tagged equipment-tools are checked out for loads7. Gathers serial number every time a new tool is purchased and request a KI number from staff.Position Expectations1. Drives safely2. Takes precaution with road conditions3. Flexible with role and willing to help colleagues10. Follows the chain of command if there is a problem with an employee11. Willing to work after hours and weekends to fulfill deliveries12. Physical DemandsThis position requires lifting of 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/ or carrying of objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. The driver will be required to work both inside and outside, day or night, be subject to frequent temperature changes, extreme heat and cold, wet and humid, or dry and arid conditions. Exposed to vibrations, fumes and dust.Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderately loud when in the field. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. TravelTravel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience1. High School Diploma or GED required.2. Minimum 1 year Delivery Driver Experience QualificationsMust be bilingual (English and Spanish).
