We are passionate about driving growth and creating long-term value for our clients and partners.Role DescriptionA mid-sized multi-class family-office backed suburban Philadelphia real estate development company is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented staff accountant for accurately keeping the books and records of multiple properties and producing accurate financial reports for a real estate portfolio.Core Duties include:Staff Accountant reports directly to the CFO and interfaces with external accountants, lenders, and attorneys as deals require.· Maintain accurate General Ledger and record necessary journal entries for multiple properties.· Manage AP / AR cycles and workflows across the portfolio.· Prepare monthly Cash Flows and quarterly/annual Financial Statements and budgets.· Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and respond to tenant inquiries.· Manage cash and bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities.· Manage Job Cost budgets and reconciliations to track Development Projects.· Support deal activity including acquisitions, bank mortgage refinancings, property sales, and lease transactions and other ad hoc duties as assigned.· Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvements.Qualifications & Requirements:· High level of integrity, energy, reliability and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results oriented.· Strong understanding of accounting principles, Excellent analytical and organizational skills, Meticulous attention to detail, and Ability to work collaboratively in a team. · Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.· Working knowledge of Yardi and Argus experience preferred.· Microsoft Office proficient, primarily Excel and Outlook.· High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results oriented.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.Benefits:Compensation: Based on ExperienceAnnual Performance Based Bonus Excellent Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance benefitsPaid sick leave and vacation.Work Location: Blue Bell, in Office
