Job Description: Registered Respiratory TherapistLocation: Winchester, KYTrusted Staffe is currently engaged in a search for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist on behalf of our partner, a well-established community acute care hospital located in Winchester, KY.Job Overview: The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing critical respiratory care services within the hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations. This role requires a professional who can effectively respond to stressful environments and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive respiratory therapy services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and implement necessary interventions.Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.Minimum EducationRequired: Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License.Preferred: Graduate of a CRT or RRT Program.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.Required SkillsCritical thinking skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities in high-stress situations.CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS): Must obtain within 60 days of hire.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Must obtain within 60 days of hire.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Must obtain within 60 days of hire.Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP): Must obtain within 90 days of hire.Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License: Required.Benefits$10,000 signing bonus available for qualified candidates.This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team in a community-focused healthcare environment.
