Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg Tele/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 3x12 hour shifts on a Med Surg Ortho unit with floating to MS/Tele units as needed/n• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients during days, nights, and weekends/n• Weekend coverage required with self-scheduling/n• Float to MS/Tele units as needed based on census concerns/n• 72 hours of orientation provided/n• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required within a large healthcare facility/n• Strong orthopedic and Med Surg experience required/n• Charge experience preferred/n• Travel experience required/n• Must have at least 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS/n• Must complete EKG exam during onboarding/n• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions/n• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information/n• Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed pre-start/n• Care for adult patients with various diagnoses including orthopedic conditions/n• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams/n• 26-bed unit with daily census of 26 patients and approximately 5 visits per day/n/nFacility:/nThis regional teaching medical center features 641 licensed beds and is designated as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The facility offers advanced specialty programs including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services, along with an Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit for patients 65+ at higher risk for complications.
