Find out how a career as a IT Applications Architect - Sales & Operations can change yours.An IT Applications Architect - Sales & Operations is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organization's technical solutions and will serve as the technical expert on solution design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. The IT Technical Architect II works closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT development and operations teams to develop, maintain, and enhance our enterprise architecture. Critical for success is a deep understanding of enterprise-level software development, infrastructure, and security, as well as experience with modern technologies and industry best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills are key. Depending on your positions and location you may participate in a different benefit plan.Key Responsibilities:Strong architectural understanding of lead-to-project lifecycle (opportunity → estimate → contract → project execution)Experience with Salesforce ArchitectureExperience implementing and integrating Salesforce Field Service for scheduling, dispatch, work orders, and mobile workforce managementAbility to architect end-to-end integration between CRM, FSL, and PMIS platformsExperience with ERP and Construction platforms such as Procore, InEight, or similar, including project financialsStrong knowledge of integration tools (REST APIs, middleware, iPaaS) to enable real-time and batch data synchronization across systemsExperience designing field-to-office workflows, including mobile data capture, offline capabilities, and synchronization with core systemsExperience implementing automation and workflow orchestration (approvals, change orders, service triggers, escalations)Ability to enforce security, role-based access, and data governance across application platformsVendor/platform evaluation and roadmap ownership across construction operations systemsQualifications and SkillsBachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4-6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combinationExperience with enterprise-level infrastructure design, security, and performance best practicesExperience with project management and life cycle management methodologiesDesired Qualifications:Experience with IT service management methodologies, such as ITILExperience with cloud technologies, containerization, and microservices architectureExperience working with Agile methodologiesAA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disabilityhttps://www.michels.us/website-user-privacy-policy/
