Tax SupervisorPosition OverviewThe Tax Supervisor will oversee the tax preparation process, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing expert guidance to clients and junior staff. This role requires a strong understanding of various tax forms and the ability to analyze complex tax situations effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and review tax preparation for various entities including 1120S, 1065, 1120, and 1040 forms.Provide guidance on trust and estate tax matters.Conduct training and mentorship for junior tax staff.Analyze client financial information to identify tax planning opportunities.Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on tax-related inquiries.QualificationsCPA or EA designation preferred.Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting environment.Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.Experience with trust and estate taxation is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
