Based in our Chandler headquarters, you would be part of the Reliability Physics Engineering team tasked with supporting products from multiple business units worldwide.Responsibilities include implementing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning based algorithms to support Microchip’s most advanced products.Creating automated analysis and comparison of SEM/TEM/optical images.Creating machine learning based image recognition and trend/predictive analysis based on historical data.Creating database from failure analysis and projecting trends for failure across technology/Fab/product.This internship could transition into a long-term internship and requires that you are a registered college/university student with the ability to work part-time.Must be able to work independently, set your daily priorities, and work in a team environment.Requirements/QualificationsStrong background with programing languages especially Python is required.Experience with image recognition and trend/predictive analysis is desired.Good problem-solving skills are desired.Documentation of work performed is required. Good communication skills are required.Must be self-motivated, team player and adhere to Microchips company values.This is a long-term internship, thus ability to work part-time (up to 25 hours per week) while attending college/university is required.
