Director of Quality
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Director of Quality Engineering to lead global quality strategy across our clients farming related manufacturing operations. This role oversees quality engineering and laboratory teams while partnering with Plant Managers across 3–4 sites in the U.S. and Latin America. The ideal candidate brings a strong chemical engineering background, experience with chemical formulation for cleaning equipment, and proven expertise in building and maintaining company-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS).Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement global quality engineering strategy across multiple manufacturing sitesPartner with Plant Managers at 3–4 sites (U.S. & Latin America) to drive quality performance and standardizationDevelop, implement, and maintain company-wide QMS, ensuring consistency across all facilitiesManage and develop a team of ~15 employees, including Quality Engineers and up to 5 Lab TechniciansOversee laboratory operations, testing protocols, and validation processesApply chemical formulation knowledge (cleaning equipment/agents) to support product quality and manufacturing processesDrive root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality systemsCollaborate with operations, R&D, and supply chain to improve product and process qualitySupport new product introductions and ensure quality readinessTravel to U.S. and Latin American sites to support alignment and executionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required); advanced degree preferred10+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing5+ years of leadership experience in multi-site or global environmentsProven experience creating, implementing, and maintaining QMS across multiple sitesExperience with chemical formulation (cleaning equipment or industrial applications preferred)Strong background in laboratory operations and quality systemsExperience partnering with plant leadershipBilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese) preferredWillingness to travel domestically and internationallyEqual Employment Opportunity StatementKelly is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other legally protected status, and we take affirmative action to recruit, employ, and advance qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans in the workforce.
