Title: Sr. Project ManagerLocation: Houston, TX (hybrid)Job Type: Direct HireWork Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to Work in the USOverview:Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by performing project management functions and researching business and technical issues. Project types include ERP integration, infrastructure, custom application development, and AI-enabled solutions. Works independently with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on assignments.Essential DutiesOversee, facilitate, and act as a single point of contact for moderate to high complexity projectsBe proactive in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate riskEstablish and communicate project schedules, objectives, priorities and targetsResearch business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possibleDevelop and deliver complex business case presentationsSupervise development and execution of project documentation such as design documents, architecture diagrams, and system test plansManage project documentation, tracking activities, and keeping project stakeholders informed of project status through regular reporting of risks, quality, milestones, scope, schedule, budget, and performance to established targets on a regular basisConduct project meetings, participate in cross-functional teams, and address inter-departmental issuesManage outside vendors or consultants and ensure all contracted deliverables are metEvaluate user proficiency and define training requirements to raise the level of proficiency of the usersEffectively interact with internal customers, cross-functional teams, and upper management to ensure that all requirements are metOwn project governance: steering committees, status reporting cadence, RAID management, change controlCreate/maintain: integrated project plan, budget/forecast, communications plan, stakeholder map, RAID log, change logEnsure delivery readiness: cutover planning, training/communications, hypercare, benefits tracking (if applicable)Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, controls, government regulations, and business requirementsDive in and act as a Business Analyst to assist in requirements gathering as needed (requirements elicitation, process mapping, documentation)Attends and participates in project closure meetings and financial meetingsSkills and Abilities:Work independently and drive projects to completionDemonstrate above-average written and verbal communication skills and superior presentation skillsAnticipate and proactively solve moderate to complex problems using internal and external resourcesIdentify opportunities and provide ideas, methods, and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency, and qualityProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, etc.) and SharePointDemonstrate solid organizational skills and prioritize work to meet deadlines and implement corrective actions as neededDemonstrate a desire to learn and explore new technologies that could benefit company and the team.Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, phases, techniques, and toolsAcute knowledge of program and portfolio management processesMaintains current awareness of external trends and best practicesKnowledge and awareness of the Midstream Energy sector is preferredKnowledge of Reporting and Analytics solutions preferredMinimum Education and Certification:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Technology or BusinessPMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferredMinimum Experience:At least seven years of related experience and/or training, and must include project scheduling, estimation, and vendor engagementOutstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in the use of project methodologyExperience with managing projects with ERP systems required; Oracle Cloud and/or Microsoft Field Dynamics preferredDelivery approaches: Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid, WaterfallExperience working with multi-disciplined teamsLeadership:May serve as a resource to others with less experienceProblem Solving and Innovation:Provides solutions to a diverse scope and range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsSolutions frequently require evaluation of various factors, new approaches, planning, and resourcefulnessExpected to regularly identify opportunities and to provide ideas, methods, and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency, and quality within the scope of the roleImpact:Accountable for the delivery of the project charter and managing the scope, schedules, and budgetsAbout INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
