This role ensures precision, efficiency, and quality in machine cutting solutions by generating and optimizing CNC machine code.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate 2D and 3D models using CAD software based on engineering drawings and specificationsDevelop programs to generate toolpaths for CNC cutting machinesConvert designs into machine-readable codeSet up and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracySimulate machining processes to detect errors or issuesCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to refine designsMaintain documentation for programs, setups, and processesEnsure compliance with quality standards and safety regulationsRequired Skills & QualificationsProficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., VersaFAB, or similar)Solid understanding of CNC machining and toolingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of G-code and M-code programmingStrong problem-solving and attention to detailGood communication and teamwork skillsEducation & ExperienceAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in CAD/CAM programming or CNC machiningPreferred QualificationsExperience with ANC cutting machiningCertification in CNC programming or CAD/CAM tools
