Software Engineer Intern

Summary / ObjectiveAs a Software Engineer Intern, you will build production features for Identity Digital's Top Level Domains (TLD) Registry Platform. In this internship, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience on real software systems. This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a minimum commitment of three months.This internship is for candidates who recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates who graduated before 2026 will not be considered.This role reports to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering.What You'll DoSupport development practices by utilizing tooling (such as Claude Code) to improve team workflowsAssist in designing and implementing REST APIs and software solutions using C#, .NET, Python, and microservices architectureImplement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as Aurora PostgreSQL, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Glue, Step Functions, Flink, and PaimonSupport CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance for production deployments and AWS provisioningWrite unit and integration tests with detailed test case planningTake active accountability for your assigned design and delivery tasks under the guidance of senior engineering staffWho You Are / What You BringRecent completed Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (candidates who graduated before 2026 will not be considered)Strong computer science fundamentals and object-oriented programming (OOP) experience (such as C# .NET, Java, or similar languages)Demonstrable functioning software projects (please include examples)Working knowledge of SQLEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work across time zones as part of a global organization as neededReliable transportation to the workplacePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesCompensation Range$25-$30/hrA few things to know about usIdentity Digital is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or any other category prohibited by local, state or federal law.
