Assistant Dispensary ManagerGreen DispensaryJob Title: Assistant Dispensary ManagerLocation: Green Dispensary Job Status: Full-Time, ExemptPay Range: $45,000 annually (depending on experience) + CommissionDirect Supervisor: General Manager Position OverviewThe Assistant Dispensary Manager supports the Dispensary Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily dispensary operations, including team leadership, customer experience, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a manager-in-training and is responsible for leading store operations in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong retail management experience, a passion for cannabis, and a proven ability to drive sales performance and meet revenue goals.KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Operations & Store ManagementSupport the Dispensary Manager in daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivityAssist with scheduling, timekeeping, and employee availabilityMonitor store performance, including weekly and monthly sales metricsEnsure proper use of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and operational toolsMaintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready retail environmentTeam Leadership & DevelopmentAssist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new employeesConduct and support employee training and ongoing developmentProvide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluationsFoster a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused work environmentCommunicate company updates, policies, and expectations to staffSales & Customer Experience:Drive sales performance by motivating the team to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goalsActively track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvementCoach team members on upselling, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniquesEnsure exceptional customer service and a welcoming, educational experience for all customersCompliance & Regulatory Oversight:Ensure strict compliance with all Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) regulationsMaintain adherence to all company policies, procedures, and state/local lawsAssist in monitoring and enforcing compliance protocols within the storeMaintain accurate records and support inventory tracking systems (e.g., METRC, if applicable)Inventory Management:Assist with inventory control, audits, and reconciliationParticipate in regular and random inventory countsEnsure proper handling and tracking of cannabis products and suppliesSupport inventory system accuracy and reportingAdditional Responsibilities:Supervise dispensary operations in the absence of the Dispensary ManagerWork a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysConsistently contribute to achieving store revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)Perform other duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONSMinimum 1–2 years of retail or customer service management experience (cannabis industry experience preferred)Must be at least 21 years of ageProven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a retail environmentStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilitiesHigh attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Windows-based applicationsKnowledge of cannabis products and industry trends preferredFamiliarity with Nevada cannabis laws and regulations preferredReliable performance in both Shift Lead and Budtending duties.Ensure that all staff members are consistently up to date on Dutchie SOPs and training. Regularly review procedures with the team, provide necessary refreshers, and address any knowledge gaps to maintain compliance and efficiency in daily operations.
