Job DescriptionPsychometrist (PRN — Part-Time, As Needed)About the RoleI am a neuropsychologist in Texas seeking an experienced psychometrist to join my practice on a PRN basis. This is a flexible, as-needed position ideal for someone who enjoys the clinical side of neuropsychological assessment and is comfortable working with a wide range of clients.A significant portion of the current workload involves assisting with FAA-related evaluations for pilots and other aviation professionals. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a specialized area of neuropsychological assessment.What You'll DoYou'll administer a range of neuropsychological and psychological tests to patients across the lifespan under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, with a current emphasis on FAA aeromedical evaluations. Between and around evaluations, you'll handle test scoring, data entry, and filing of data.What I'm Looking ForPrior experience administering neuropsychological and psychological test batteries is required. The right candidate will have a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, strong attention to detail, comfort working independently, and genuine care for patients during what can be a long testing day. Familiarity with common neuropsych measures (e.g., WAIS, WMS, WCST, D-KEFS, CVLT, Trail Making, and similar instruments) is expected.Graduate students in psychology or neuropsychology programs are encouraged to apply. This position offers meaningful clinical exposure and hands-on experience with a diverse caseload.Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, discretion with sensitive patient information, and the flexibility that a PRN schedule requires (i.e., some weeks may be busy, others quiet).Compensation & DetailsThis is an hourly, PRN position with a flexible schedule based on patient volume. Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
