Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be an integral part of our success and growth. This role is responsible for building wire harness products, and more. This is a 2nd shift position, M-Th (9 hour shift) F (4 hour shift) with a 2:30pm start time. Job Responsibilities:Build Wire Harness from documentationCrimp terminals on wireRead, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.Make harnesses on harness boards utilizing schematics, 2D documents, and engineering part numbersIdentify issues with reports and work with engineering to correct issuesDocument QC and problem resolution logsMaintain a safe, organized and efficient work areaAssist in 5S and Lean activities as requiredIdentify and assist in process improvement measuresAssist in training measures as neededAssist in other areas of manufacturing as neededEnsure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization Qualifications:High school education or equivalentProficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measure, ruler, etc.)Experience working in an ISO environment preferredHigh motivation level and ability to multi-taskAbility to work with independently with limited supervisionAbility to work well with othersStrong attention to detail, organization and time management skillsSafety awareness and practiceGood math and communication skillsDemonstrated computer skillsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreterAbility to work overtime depending on workload Physical Requirements:Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire) Compensation & Benefits:Competitive Hourly Pay :$18.50-$21.00 DOEComprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Life Insurance, Disability, ADD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Floating Holidays, ESST.Disclaimer:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the position. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, education, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
