You won’t be pushing a single product — you’ll be buildingcustomized advertising strategies for local businesses and then selling them on the investment.Day-to-day you’ll:• Prospect for new clients through face-to-face outreach and community networking• Conduct Customer Needs Analyses to understand each client’s goals and challenges• Develop tailored multi-platform advertising solutions (TV/radio, digital, print)• Present proposals to business owners and decision-makers, often in group settings• Manage and grow an existing book of accounts• Hit monthly and quarterly revenue goalsWhat We’re Looking For• Proven ability to find decision-makers, build trust, and close business• Strong local network or connections in the Albany-Tifton market (a big plus)• Experience in negotiation and new business development• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word• Media sales experience helpful but not required — we will train the right personRequirements• Associate’s degree or higher preferred• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (client visits required)First Media South is an equal opportunity employer.
