We are dedicated to our team's continuing education and encourage growth both at work and in life.Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for performing the general accounting functions such as general ledger, A/P and A/R, bank and escrow account reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations and the month-end and quarter-end accounting process.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the group with the preparation of daily and month-end adjusting entriesDaily reconciliation of various bank accountsGeneral ledger maintenancePerform financial statement preparation, distribution and variance analysisAssist with report writing and special projectsSubmits statutory and regulatory reports and assists with annual escheatment filingHelps with annual budget compilationActs as the audit liaisonSpecial projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingPublic accounting experience, a plus,Strong analytical, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced computer skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience with large ERP and general ledger systemsExcellent customer service and communication skills Strong team player – able to help others in the groupAttention to detail with superior data entry skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work under pressure with compressed deadlines in a team environmentAbility to work overtime as business demands requireAdvocus Title is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes and encourages all applicants to apply regardless of age, race, sex, religion, color, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital or parental status, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy or other reason protected by law.
