CPR / BLS Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic CPR / BLS Red Cross Certifierd Instructor to join our team and empower individuals with life-saving skills. As a vital member of our training staff, you will deliver engaging, instructor-led courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic life support (BLS). Your role is to educate participants on essential emergency response protocols, ensuring they are confident and prepared to act in critical situations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your teaching expertise in a supportive environment. This is a contract position, there are no requirements to meet a certain amount of hours each week. We pay a set rate for each class taught. Duties Lead instructor-led training sessions on CPR, AED operation, first aid, BLS, and protocols for diverse audiences Utilize adult education principles to create interactive lesson plans that cater to varying learning styles Demonstrate proper techniques using first aid instruction simulation dummies and emergency defibrillation trainers Assess participant competency through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and certification documentation Ensure all training equipment, including AEDs and first aid supplies, are properly maintained and sanitized Stay current with the latest first aid protocols, certification standards, and industry best practices Skills Proven experience in adult education and classroom instruction with strong communication skills Expertise in CPR, AED operation, first aid instruction and training instruction Familiarity with first aid instruction simulation dummies and emergency defibrillation trainers Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and learning needs Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners Lifeguard experience or swimming proficiency is a plus for demonstrating water rescue techniques Strong organizational skills to manage multiple training sessions efficiently and accurately record outcomes Join us as a CPR / BLS Instructor and be at the forefront of saving lives!
