Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummarySeeking a Cloud Test Engineer to join our mission-driven Cyber Missions team supporting mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programsIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure supporting high-impact cyber missionsWorking closely with software engineers, cloud engineers, DevSecOps teams, and solution providers, you will lead testing efforts for applications transitioning to—or operating within—Amazon Web Services (AWS) environmentsThe ideal candidate has experience with cloud technologies, software testing methodologies, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and enjoys solving complex technical challenges in fast-paced Agile environmentsPrimary ResponsibilitiesLead and execute testing activities for cloud-based applications, services, and infrastructure supporting mission-critical environmentsDevelop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test procedures, and automated test scriptsPerform manual, functional, integration, regression, and configuration testing for applications deployed within AWS cloud environmentsValidate cloud infrastructure deployments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, including TerraformTest containerized applications and deployments utilizing Kubernetes and DockerSupport continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes by validating software builds, deployments, and infrastructure changesCollaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, DevSecOps engineers, and product teams to ensure production readiness and successful deployment into AWS environmentsAnalyze test results, identify software defects, reproduce issues, and document findings through defect tracking systemsCreate, document, and manage bug reports while working closely with development teams to resolve issuesPerform root cause analysis for failed tests, automation issues, and deployment problemsValidate application performance, scalability, reliability, and system integration across cloud environmentsSupport automation initiatives by developing or maintaining automated testing frameworks and scriptsParticipate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, test planning, demonstrations, and retrospectivesContribute to continuous process improvements that enhance software quality, testing efficiency, and release reliabilityRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMinimum of five (5) years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical disciplineFour (4) additional years of Test Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirementExperience developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, test procedures, and automated test scriptsExperience performing manual, functional, integration, and regression testingExperience analyzing test results and identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defectsExperience documenting software defects and collaborating with multidisciplinary development teamsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within Agile software development environmentsDesired QualificationsExperience testing applications deployed within Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environmentsExperience utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker to validate cloud infrastructure and containerized applicationsExperience with automated testing frameworks and test automation toolsExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing systemsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesKnowledge of web technologies, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-native applicationsExperience performing software integration testing and end-to-end system validationExperience analyzing application performance, system efficiency, and scalabilityAbility to reproduce software defects and perform root cause analysisExperience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community cloud modernization effortsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.The Pay Range For This Role Is110,000 - 155,000 USD per year(NBP)
