Senior Analyst – Dining Advisory Practice Group Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Dining Advisory Practice Group—where analytical rigor drives mission‑focused transformation on college campuses. This remote position is available to candidates residing near major airports, with preference for those near our regional offices. Responsibilities Conduct analytical work that supports meaningful client decisions—including research, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, survey design and analysis, financial modeling, operational assessments, market analysis, and program development. Synthesize findings into clear, compelling client deliverables and presentations that help prepare clients for effective decision‑making. Serve as a secondary client liaison, supporting project managers with communication, coordination, and on‑site engagement. Participate in and support client site visits nationwide. Enhance our advisory capabilities by improving analytical tools, refining models, strengthening data storytelling, and contributing new ways of thinking. Collaborate closely with project teams, internal partners, and external stakeholders to advance critical thinking and best practices. Contribute to business development through proposal writing, conference participation, article development, and relationship building. Support the coaching and onboarding of junior staff. Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching. Requirements 3+ years of experience in higher education or non‑profit management, food service/hospitality management, management consulting, urban planning, and real estate development. Bachelor’s degree in higher education, non‑profit management, food service/hospitality management, management consulting, real estate development, urban planning, architecture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Strong analytical capabilities; data collection and analysis, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency preferred. Experience in higher‑education dining or institutional food service is a plus. Experience in a client‑facing or customer‑facing role; comfort with project management fundamentals is preferred. Excellent writing, group facilitation, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment. Intellectual curiosity and a critical‑thinking mindset, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence and thoughtful risk‑taking. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to travel two or more times per month. Clear alignment with B&D’s mission, values, and approach.
