Schedule: Full TimeJob Type: HybridSalary Type: SalaryReq #: 2615About The RoleThe Customer Service Manager is the primary point of contact and advocate for the customer for day-to-day needs with regards to supply chain. They will improve TMS operational network performance by managing TMS input and output to positively impact our customer's networks. Additionally, they will interact with multiple contacts throughout the customer’s supply chain network. Finally, they will advance processes by improving the effectiveness and efficiency of standard work using various tools and working with CEM.What The Candidate Will DoResponsible for ensuring all operational work is being completed by leveraging Transportation Management System (TMS) information and data analytics to ensure that work is being done correctly and timely, intervening as necessary to achieve desired customer resultsUses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve customer outcomesWork with various team members across operations management, carrier management, and other internal departments to ensure that the customer is prioritized and served appropriatelyPrepare for and lead effective customer facing meetingsProvide recommendations for process improvements and work collaboratively to achieve Uber Freight’s objectivesAssist setting up and maintaining processes used to effectively execute day-to-day operationsOwn external KPI’s and metricsA line of escalation for customer but is responsible to make sure a response is givenMore reactive in the escalations they are dealing withPartner with Associate Manager - Operations Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through managing compliance of routing guide and spot shipmentsBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 3 years of related experienceTravel: Occasional travel required (approximately 3–5 times per year) for customer site visits, carrier meetings, or internal Uber Freight events.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Transportation Management or Business Administration related fieldAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft or Google Tools and of TMSF and root cause of TMSF issues.Knowledge of BI reporting and of the Oracle or Comparable ERP System, specifically Accounts Payable module(s), Uber Freight TMS, Shipment Planning, Shipment Entry, Shipment Execution, and TMS Lite.Benefits & Compensation For U.S. EmployeesEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
