Job Title: Video Data Collection AssistantJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Remote (U.S.-based)Job Summary:Join our customer's team as a Video Data Collection Assistant and make an impact on the future of AI and robotics! In this hands-on, fully remote role, you’ll capture high-quality video demonstrations of household tasks using advanced recording equipment. Your detailed recordings and precise annotations will power next-generation AI systems designed to help with everyday living.Key Responsibilities:Perform and record simple household activities (e.g., folding laundry, making a bed, picking up objects) following structured instructions.Set up and operate provided hardware kits, including Meta Ray-Ban glasses, a tripod-mounted smartphone, and a ring light.Capture simultaneous video footage from two perspectives for each activity.Transfer, upload, and organize video files consistently after each session.Insert accurate start/end timestamps and labels for specific actions within each video (e.g., grasp, fold, release).Maintain clear written and verbal communication with the team, ensuring responsiveness and reliability.Adhere to stringent quality standards to maximize the value and usability of collected data.Required Skills and Qualifications:U.S.-based and able to receive shipped hardware kits.Proficient in basic video recording and operation of devices such as smartphones and wearable cameras.Detail-oriented approach to both household tasks and data annotation.Able to consistently follow detailed step-by-step instructions and protocols.Comfortable performing and demonstrating everyday household activities on camera.Capable of efficiently transferring, organizing, and uploading video files.Strong written and verbal communication skills; responsive and collaborative team player.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience with data collection, video annotation, or supporting AI/robotics projects.Familiarity with structured documentation or labeling tools.Interest in emerging technology and robotics applications for home environments.
