Business Development Specialist
Transcontinental Group is a rapidly growing supplier of flexible industrial packaging headquartered in Houston, TX. We are seeking an energetic and self-starting individual to add to our team.
This position will be responsible for growing and managing our customer base. The right person for this position must be able to successfully identify, pursue, and close new accounts as their primary function.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct sales calls and follow up reporting
Quoting new business and follow-up on all leads provided
Building and maintaining strong relationship with accounts
Forecasting sales
Requesting samples and follow-up to ensure on-time delivery
Overall customer satisfaction and facilitation of problem resolution
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelors in business, marketing or related field
Must be a "Hunter" of new business and have superior phone prospecting skills
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as in team selling situations
Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management
Area travel will be required.
