The Senior Developer will lead User Interface (UI) architecture, mentor junior team members, and deliver high quality solutions in a secure federal environment.This position is located in our Lafayette LA or in our Fairfax VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Your future duties and responsibilitiesLead development of complex components using modern Angular (v14+)Architect scalable, maintainable structures and shared component librariesCollaborate closely with DOJ stakeholders, User Experience (UX) designers, and other developersImplement robust state management (NgRx, Akita, BehaviorSubject patterns)Optimize performance, accessibility, and user experience across supported browsersConduct code reviews and provide technical leadershipSupport CI/CD pipeline integration using Git and modern DevSecOps toolingPrototype new capabilities and guide UI technical direction for the projectConduct Unit Testing of developed codeProvide demonstrations to key stakeholders of agile developed componentsRequired qualifications to be successful in this roleMeets LCAT requirement: Bachelor's degree + 9 years of relevant experience6+ years hands on Angular development (Angular 2+ required; recent Angular preferred)Expert knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASSStrong experience with RxJS, Observables, and reactive programmingProven experience integrating and consuming REST APIsExperience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress)Familiarity with secure coding practices within government or regulated environmentsProven experience interfacing with federal clientsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceDesired qualifications/non-essential skills requiredExperience developing 508 compliant UIPrior DOJ, DHS, law enforcement, or Government system experienceFamiliarity with Java/Spring backendsExperience leading development teamsExisting Public Trust or higher clearanceCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
