Payer Contract Analysts
JOB SUMMARY:The Payer Contract Modeling Analyst is responsible for all loading, modeling, support, and maintenance of the managed care contracts and fee schedules within the contract management system. This includes contracts for facility, professional, home care, infusion, pharmacy, etc. This position provides key support for the implementation of new and existing clients. The Payer Contract Modeling Analyst is expected to model, support, and operationalize risk-based contracting methodologies and global transplant agreements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Review, interpret, analyze, manage, and negotiate complex agreements and resolve contractual issues. • Assure accurate data entry of contract specifications and terms into the database and completeness of all contracting processes. • Must be able to turn data into actionable information in an accurate, reliable, and timely manner. • Able to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines. • Effectively use various tools to initiate a project, monitor progress, anticipate obstacles and provide concise updates in a timely manner. • Provide accurate and reliable information to constituents and maintain professional relationships with key contacts. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:2 years’ experience working in provider reimbursement and analysis, data/contract analysis and data mining or statistics in the healthcare industry.Computer skills with proficient knowledge of spreadsheet/graphics software, presentation software, database software, and report writer software.Possess experience with contract modeling and contract management systems and have a working knowledge and understanding of managed health care contracts.Possess strong financial analysis skills and project management skills. Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects and data.Remote and Hybrid positions require a home internet connection that meets the company’s upload and download speed criteria.
