Job Description CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Location: Apex, NC Job Type: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Job Overview We are urgently hiring an experienced CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator for a trusted precision CNC machine shop in Apex, NC. Responsibilities As a CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator, you will:Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machinesWork with 3-axis, 4-axis, 3+2, and horizontal milling centersPerform tooling setups and make tool offset adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet tight tolerance requirementsMaintain machine accuracy and quality throughout productionTroubleshoot machining issues as neededFollow all safety procedures and production standardsWork closely with engineering and production teams to support quality and efficiency Requirements Qualified candidates should have:10+ years of hands-on CNC milling experienceStrong CNC programming, setup, and operating experienceAbility to independently perform machine setupsExperience making tool offsets and tooling adjustmentsStrong understanding of CNC milling, tooling, and machining processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience holding tight tolerances in a precision machining environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred QualificationsG-code programming experienceCAM software experienceExperience with prototype or low-volume precision machiningExperience in a certified or high-quality CNC machine shop environmentBenefits This position offers:Competitive pay of $30.00-$32.00 per hourOvertime opportunitiesPerformance-based incentive planCompany-paid healthcare coveragePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) plan with company matchStable, long-term opportunity with a reputable precision machine shop Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
