Computer Science Instructor - After School Classes Availability during any of these shifts from Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Or on Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Position Overview Seeking college students to join us for an exciting opportunity to teach K-12 students fundamentals of computer science and programming. Instructors are responsible for delivering iCode curriculum while creating a fun learning experience for students. This is a great job opportunity for a college student looking to gain experience and develop soft skills and leadership skills. Classroom management and curriculum training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by iCode. Manage a fun and orderly classroom at all times. Provide feedback about class material and student dynamics in weekly status reports. Provide weekly communication and updates to parents. Qualifications Have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and possess excellent people skills. Demonstrate hobbies such as robotics, gaming, coding, or digital arts. Ability to work with students ranging from K-12. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in languages such as Scratch, HTML, Java, or Python. Experience in tutoring or working with kids in camp setting is a plus. Experience working with Unreal Engine and/or Unity preferred.
