Patient Care Tech I - PCT - Surgical Oncology Full time - Night shift - 36 hours Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.What awaits you:Our competitive Benefits Package is designed to support the well-being and financial security of our employees and includes:Full medical, dental, and vision plans,Paid time off (PTO),Tuition reimbursement for you and your dependentsTell a friend and get paid with our Employee Referral Program Bonus!Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.Important Notices: ***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
