This is a shift toward something more focused, more expressive, and more ambitious.We are building a restaurant that aims to set a new standard, not just locally, but across the region.Role DescriptionWe are not looking for someone to "manage a wine list."As Sommelier/Wine Director, you will:Curate and evolve a wine list that complements the CuisineDevelop pairings that are thoughtful, intentional, and sometimes unexpected.Lead the wine experience on the floor, guiding guests with confidence and approachability.Train and elevate the service team's wine knowledge and confidence.Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.Help shape the overall tone of hospitality, from first pour to final impression.This is a collaborative role: You will work directly with the Chef and ownership to ensure the wine program is not separate from the food, but fully integrated into the experience.QualificationsStrong foundation in wine knowledge, CMS, WSET, or equivalent experience preferred. Willing to assist with education for the right passionate individual.Confident, guest-facing presence, able to read the table and adapt.Passion for both classic regions and emerging producers.Ability to balance education and accessibilityLeadership mindset, someone who can train, guide, and elevate a team.Someone who wants to build something, not just step into something
