Avanos Medical is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol AVNS.Territory: North Texas (Dallas / Fort Worth based)Covering: Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Lubbock, Witchita Falls, Abilene, Midland/OdessaEssential Duties and Responsibilities:The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Nicu Specialist is responsible for the positioning and selling of Avanos Medical Digestive Health-NeoMed-related products and solutions within both Acute Care and Alternate Care accounts/facilities/departments. Responsibilities include all technical and conceptual sales aspects of the Avanos Medical DH-NeoMed product portfolio including, but not limited to, the validation of Avanos Medical's DH-NeoMed product cost/value proposition leading to increased year-on-year sales as per the Avanos Medical Digestive Health sales plan and territory sales objectives.Digestive Health-NeoMed Products: Neonatal and Pediatric enteral feeding system including enteral feeding tubes and accessories, enteral feeding syringes, and enteral feeding syringe pumps. Pharmacy: Oral/Enteral Pharmacy syringe solution and accessories. Kits: Oral Care, Colostrum, Transfer Lids, Catheterization Trays, Urinary Kits.Target Market: Hospitals: Nicu, Picu, Pharmacy, Infection Control, Quality/Safety, Value Analysis, Purchasing, Supply ChainThe ideal candidate for the Nicu Specialist will utilize personal skills, product expertise, and clinical expertise to maintain and build existing and new revenue within a set sales territory. The Nicu Specialist will be responsible for a continued demonstration of sales expertise of appropriate skills and functions that include but are not limited to product presentations, clinical presentations, product pricing, sales territory management, internal and external communication, and accurate sales forecasting/reporting. These activities are to result in net sales and profit growth by achieving product and sales category objectives within an assigned sales territory.Key Responsibilities:Sales positioning, analysis, and in-service implementation of all AVANOS DH-NeoMed product categories leading to year-on-year sales increases as per the AVANOS DH sales plan.The development and implementation of strong business value selling skills and overall AVANOS DH-NeoMed sales acumen.Developing and maintaining expertise across the entire range of AVANOS DH-NeoMed products and service platformsTactical implementation of selling and business activities developed and implemented by the sales region to meet sales objectivesDeveloping and maintaining high-gain sales relationships with multiple decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts or markets; (Nicu Managers, Nurse Educators, Neonatologists, Pharmacy Techs, Pharmacists, Supply Chain, Value Analysis, Materials Management)Development and implementation of contract and price negotiations/contract management with desired outcomes of obtaining committed business at the highest margins possibleEffective collaboration with sales management, internal partners/stakeholders, Standard of Care Specialist, and customersEffective utilization of AVANOS DH-NeoMed sales and marketing resources necessary to meet objectivesEffective territory budget management and utilization of AVANOS DH sales support resources, per compliance policyActive participation with the Region Manager in the strategic and tactical planning processesYour qualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree requiredAt least 3 or more years of sales experience in B2B or the Health Care industry.Proof of a successful track recordDemonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skillsEvidence of continued personal and professional growth and developmentExcellent knowledge of PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.Tactfully AggressiveComfortable in a Hospital SettingTravel by car requiredMust be able to lift 35 poundsPreferred:5 years of Medical Device Sales Experience Preferred; Capital Experience Preferred, not requiredExperience in Digestive Health products and related disease statesPrefer candidate to be in the Top 10% of Sales ForceHospital Sales Experience PreferredSalesforce.com experience preferredThe statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this classification. In addition, this role is eligible for an attractive incentive compensation program and benefits.
