Quantitative Research Analyst
ROLE SUMMARY: As a Quantitative Research Analyst at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Research & Analysis team by creating surveys to research and analyze what BJU Press customers want and expect from our products and services. We support and encourage each other to work and live in light of eternity.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign or develop research surveys using Qualtrics, a web-based research platformAnalyze raw data to interpret the extent and import of the findingsAnalyze numeric survey responsesAnalyze customer comments and reviewsLocate applicable secondary dataPrepare findings reports, including actionable recommendations for product revisionsPresent or assist in presenting findings reportsRecommend courses of action for the production and marketing of materials based on insights from researchRecommend courses of action for qualitative research studies used to help inform quantitative researchStay abreast of latest issues/trends in market researchBe knowledgeable of competitors in the marketplaceRepresent the Research & Analysis department in team research meetingsSkills And Attributes Needed To Succeed In This RoleAbility to work well with teamsAbility to balance multiple projectsGood organizational skillsDetail-orientedWriting and editing skillsAdept at learning new softwareDesign ability and/or experience with templates, particularly using Microsoft Word to create research reportsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree OR 2+ YOE OR equivalent demonstrated aptitudeResearch experience preferred, although additional training will be givenData analysis training and experience preferredExperience presenting to groups; speech training preferredKnowledge of educational terms and demographics preferredTeaching experience helpful/preferredExperience with BJU Press materials preferredKnowledge of the publishing/printing process a plusAn applicant for a position in the Bob Jones University group — Bob Jones University, Bob Jones Academy or BJU Press — must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
