Capacity and Materials Planning Architect (Sheet Metal Operations)
Are you the architect of predictable production?Imagine a week where forecasts, orders, and capacity snap into alignment—and OTD climbs because you designed it that way. In this role, you’ll architect the master schedule, anticipate needs 0–36 months out, and keep inventory balanced while leading cross-functional cadence and clearing constraints through the Expeditor.What You’ll OwnDesign and upkeep of the MPS that reflects real demand from forecasts and customers.Forward-looking capacity planning (0–36 months) for labor, machines, and materials in sheet metal fabrication.Right-sizing raw and finished goods to support service levels without bloat.Leadership in S&OP meetings; oversight of Expeditor activities to keep work moving.Lean/Kaizen initiatives that boost efficiency and sustain on-time delivery.High-fidelity ERP planning data across JobBOSS, SAP, and Epicore.Your ToolkitBachelor’s in business or engineering—or comparable experience.Manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain background; sheet metal experience is a plus.ERP fluency (bonus for JobBOSS) and advanced Excel capability.APICS CPIM or CSCP appreciated.Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving, and crisp communication; comfort leading people and schedules; practiced in Lean manufacturing principles.How We’ll Measure Your ImpactOn-time Delivery (primary contribution)Inventory Turnover and adherence to targetsProduction Plan AccuracyCapacity UtilizationMaterial Allocation effectivenessSystems You’ll DriveERP software (JobBOSS, SAP, Epicore) and advanced Excel
