A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school in Tecumseh, MI, offering a rewarding contract position working with K-12 students. This role involves managing a caseload of 48 students, providing skilled therapy services with a focus on both in-person and teletherapy methods.Key Responsibilities:Deliver skilled speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade.Manage a caseload of 48 students, tailoring therapy plans to individual needs.Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices to support students' communication development.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize student progress.Implement teletherapy services as appropriate, ensuring effective remote communication and therapy delivery.Required Qualifications:Active MI Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred.Proficiency in using AAC devices and related technology.Strong skills in teletherapy service provision.Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.Work Schedule:Part-time, following school hours from 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM.This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student achievement and communication abilities within a supportive educational environment.
