Job DescriptionCardiology Opportunity next to Richmond, VA!!A growing cardiology practice is actively recruiting for a non-invasive, invasive, or interventional cardiologist to join their practice. The practice is affiliated with the Medical Center for inpatient and outpatient services. Anticipated call is 1:4, but typical weekend call is shared with another group. This opportunity is private practice with hospital support for any new physician. This is a great opportunity to join a cardiology practice in South Central Virginia. The providers have been in the community for 10+ years, attending the academic medical center for their training. Office services include consultations, stress testing (treadmill, nuclear, and echo), echocardiography, carotid/abdominal ultrasounds, and holter/event monitoring. Medical Center is a 300-bed acute care hospital located in South Central Virginia. The hospital is located in a suburb of the state capital, Richmond. Our new full service facility opened in July, 2008. With more than 300 physicians representing over 35 specialties, our regional facility serves some 200,000 residents in the surrounding communities.
