This job entails engaging with the public and responding to any and all calls for service in public right of way. You will be working with a team and supported by a leadership team that sets clear expectations and will help you to succeed and grow.Applicants need to be able and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed.Must have a current valid Texas Level II Guard License. Be able and willing to conduct extended foot patrols of the district area up to and including six hours. Must have a clean driving record.Responsibilities:Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right of way to identify potential safety and security risksMaintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactionsDocument all interactions in a clear and concise written report, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)Communicate and pass on all pertinent information to fellow team members, other safety teams, and the client.Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behaviorWarn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited itemsRespond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first respondersIdentify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely mannerEnsure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followedOther duties to be determined by managementQualifications:Must be at least 21 years of age or olderHigh school degree or equivalentValid state driver's licenseValid Texas Level II Guard LicenseProfessional demeanor and appearanceBasic computer skillsMust be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasksStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Minimum of one year of customer service experienceMinimum of one year of security experienceMust be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time!
