Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will obsess over every employee touchpoint - simplifying workflows, maximizing automation, and building scalable infrastructure that makes work easier at Hut 8.Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:Redesign core employee lifecycle journeys (onboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, off-boarding) with experience as the north starLead hands-on implementation and optimization of Rippling - workflows, automations integrations, analyticsEliminate manual processes and build intelligent, automated solutions wherever possibleMap employee journeys, identify friction points, and reduce steps to resolutionBuild mobile-first, self-service tools that empower employees and reduce dependency on HREstablish a single source of truth and dramatically improve data integrity and reportingCreate real-time dashboards and accurate, trusted reporting for leadersDesign scalable processes that support growth from 400 to 1,000+ employeesBuild compliance directly into workflows (I-9, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, multi-state requirements) so it's automatic and seamlessEnable Hut 8's "very few managers" model through transparent systems, clear decision rights, and operational autonomyPartner cross-functionally (payroll, benefits, legal, operations) to ensure flawless executionABOUT YOUObsessed with employee experience - you instinctively ask, "how do we make this easier?"Deep HRIS implementation experience (Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar)Proven automation builder - workflows, triggers, integrations, APIsStrong systems thinker who understands how platforms connect and scaleProduct mindset - you treat People systems like products built for usersSkilled in process design and continuous improvement (current → future state transformation)Data-driven and fluent in Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with reporting and analyticsStrong compliance knowledge across multi-state employment regulationsClear, concise documentation skills - you make complex things simpleChange management capability - you drive adoption, not resistanceSelf-directed and execution-oriented - you own problems end-to-endMiami-based and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environmentExperience in data center, construction, field workforce, or high-growth tech environments a plusRippling expertise strongly preferredABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENTThis role is in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
