Remote Nuclear I&C Engineer12+ month contractUS Citizenship or Green Card requiredPay Rate: $55-75 per hour, depending on experience levelThis role is primarily focused on Instrumentation & Controls, with additional exposure to broader electrical engineering design considered beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution required.8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design roles (Will consider candidates with fewer years of experience at a comparable compensation rate)Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design and analysis, particularly within power distribution systems, including experience supporting nuclear generation facilities.Strong understanding of generator station upgrade projects, including protection schemes, system stability considerations, and protective relaying applications.Solid familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulatory standards, and engineering practices applicable to both nuclear and conventional power generation environments.Experience coordinating engineering efforts across multiple disciplines and managing technical project activities.Working knowledge of formal engineering change management systems and quality assurance frameworks.Understanding of power plant design and operational fundamentals, with exposure to nuclear facilities, packaged/skid-based systems, or international energy projects preferred.Exposure to Small Modular Reactor (SMR) or advanced reactor technologies considered a plus.Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
